This is a very quick to make savoury spread for crackers or toast or a spread for vegetable sticks. It is vegan so can satisfy any cravings for cheese like flavours. High protein and good oils, it is nutritious too.

100g madadamia or cashew nuts, soaked for approx 3 hours
3 tbsp sunflower seeds, soaked with the nuts
1 capsule of probiotic powder (optional)
2 tsp lemon juice
1 small clove garlic, (optional)
1 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes ( this is a great source of vitamin B 12 )
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp himalyan salt
1/2 tsp vegetable bouillon

Drain the nuts and seeds. Wiz everything up in your food processor till it all comes together in a stiff ball.

Spoon into a jar.

If using the probiotic powder, leave the jar overnight in your kitchen for a slight fermentation to take place. Then keep refrigerated.

If not using the probiotic powder, just refrigerate.

Should last a week or so.
